Every new Colorado Rickshaw driver is
required to attend a 2-hour Driver Orientation and Training. These
sessions are educational, informative and fun. Plus, you'll have
the opportunity to get to know the management and other more experienced
drivers.
- Review our policies and procedures.
- Go over the pedicab, its special characteristics
and maintenance
- Discuss the primary areas of operation,
including special venues such as Invesco Field, Pepsi Center,
and Coors Field.
- Get tips on finding passengers and "selling
the ride."
After you get your Pedal Cab License and complete
your paperwork, you will schedule your training ride (Sunday
through Thursday only):
- Go over procedures for checking out and
checking in your pedicab.
- Review the rules of the road.
- Practice maneuvering through urban traffic.
- Cruise the boundaries of our general riding
area.
- Get familiar with locations of popular gathering
places downtown.
- Learn tips and tricks for negotiating fares
and getting passengers.
- Meet some of the other drivers.
- The first $35 you earn that shift must be paid to your trainer.
If this sounds like something you'd like to pursue,
please text your name, phone number and email address to 720 629 2599, or contact us by phone
