As an authorized driver for Colorado Rickshaw Company, I will:

1. Ensure my safety and the safety of my passengers and other road users at all times and take all measures to avoid accidents and incidents.
2. Abide by the rules of the Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles at all times.
3. At no time while driving a pedal cab be under the influence of alcohol or any drug including prescription drugs that may affect my judgement.
4. Agree on my fare with passengers prior to embarking on a specific journey and not charge or demand more.
5. Ensure that my passengers are offered the use of a safety/lap belt before all journeys.
6. Ensure that my passengers arrive at their destination safely and take particular care of the vulnerable.
7. Not aggressively tout business.
8. Not overload my pedal cab, i.e. only take passengers if they can be properly seated in my pedal cab.
9. Be courteous and considerate to other road users, pedestrians, taxi drivers, police, horse-drawn carriages and passengers at all times.
10. Not cause an obstruction to other vehicles, pedestrians or walkways, especially around the ingress or egress of any building or establishment.
11. Keep my Pedal Cab License current and wear it at all times when riding.
12. Carry out safety checks each time before I take out my pedal cab and repair or report any problems.
13. Never operate a pedal cab without fully operational front and rear brakes.
14. Never operate a pedal cab at night without working headlights and tail lights.
15. Assist any other pedal cab driver (regardless of company) if they are experiencing difficulties or are in danger of assault.
16. Not smoke, use a mobile phone or wear headphones while riding.
17. Not act in any way that might damage the reputation of the Colorado Rickshaw Company or the pedal cab industry.
18. Be courteous and follow all requirements and requests of managers or staff of any venue where pedal cabs are authorized to operate.
19. Abide by all rules set forth by the Colorado Rickshaw Company.
20. Never operate a pedal cab without required insurance, current Pedal Cab License, and business license.
